Next meeting is December 4th, 7:00 PM, Crawdaddies Tavern. Voting of officers and discussion of possible changes of the by-laws. Good meeting to attend to voice your opinion on some things. Granted,..the winter meetings are a bit slow, but if we can get a good turn out, we can get the ball rolling faster for the new season which is just around the corner. Hope to see you there! Also,…I finally got off my ass and got a Newsletter out,..check your mail in the next couple days.

What can we say to Lonnie besides “Good Job!” You earned it!

On October 8, 2006, the Gillespie Bass Club headed back to Vandalia lake to fish in the clubs top-ten classic. All ten anglers managed to catch fish even though conditions were making the bite very slow. Here are the winners for the day.

1st, Mike Slightom, 3 fish, 5.73 lbs.
2nd, Ken Wise, 3 fish, 5.18 lbs.
3rd, Matt Stieren, 2 fish, 3.35 lbs.
Big Bass, Mike Slightom, 2.86 lbs.

Congratulations to the winners and all who participated! It was a long year.
