Jeff Augustine takes 1st and Big Bass at Sangchris!
On April 4th, the Gillespie Bass Club held their 2nd tournament of the season on Sangchris Lake. With the fish in pre-spawn mode, fishing was enjoyable. Although the bigger fish didn’t seem to cooperate, the number of smaller keeper size fish did. Make note, there was a slot limit placed on the lake this year. 1 fish over 15″, 2 under. The winners are as follows:
1st, Jeff Augustine, 3 fish, 6.78 lbs.
2nd, Gwaine Crawford, 3 fish, 6.56 lbs.
3rd, Jerry Tilley, 3 fish, 6.16 lbs.
Big Bass, Jeff Augustine, 4.20 lbs.
