Dan Archer takes 1st and Big Bass honors at Carlinville!
On July 18th, 2010, the Gillespie Bass Club held their 9th tournament of the season on Carlinville Lake. The results are as follows:
1st, Dan Archer, 3 fish, 7.56 lbs.
2nd, Marty Derganc, 3 fish, 7.08 lbs.
3rd, Mike Slightom, 3 fish, 7.06 lbs.
Big Bass, Dan Archer, 4.95 lbs.
28 anglers participated with 27 weighing in 71 fish for a total weight of 128.29 lbs. A 1.81 lb. avg. per fish
Note: Carlinville lake enforces a 12 inch, 6 fish limit. Due to the time of the year, the Gillespie Bass Club chose to go with a 3 fish limit to ensure the health of the fish in this warm weather. Too many fish in a livewell is not good in this heat.
